Agile methods have repeatedly been shown to improve time-to-market but as much as 40% while simultaneously improving both business partner and technical staff satisfaction. However, agile is more of a set of principles than a detailed process. Making agile successful in most organizations requires a mixture of both traditional methods and agile concepts. This course bridges the gap from traditional project management to agile methods by discussing the key differences in approach, the principles of agile methods, and how to mix tools and techniques from both traditional methods and agile to produce high-impact teams and high-quality projects.
This one-day workshop is designed to prepare managers with experience managing traditional/waterfall SDLC projects to manage projects that employ Agile methods including Scrum and eXtreme Programming (XP).
